Historias del MalTrato / Stories of Abuse and Bad Treats

In this series I depicted themes that bother and hurt me deeply, I tried to interpret injustice, inequality, corruption, cruelty, violence and discrimination.

I talk about how the deep inequalities of always have become deeper and more evident, racial, class and political hatreds have fueled selfishness and amplified these differences where dialogue could have taken place.

All of us have suffered confinement, uncertainty and loneliness; however, the level of suffering has not been equitable between people who have the resources to stay under a roof, have food on the table, education and access to medicine and those who have nothing.

In my work, duality is always present; either we choose to forget the lessons reality is teaching us trying to return to a world that no longer exists or we try to renovate and solve problems through new bases seeking to make society a little more just. Let us listen to our hearts, to our intellects to our common humanity.
